Mein Kampf

by Adolf Hitler

Apparently, a serious treatment of the most influential book in Germany is not wanted: The reasons why the Free State of Bavaria is blocking a sponsored scientifically commented publication of Mein Kampf seem to be similar to the ones stated at the beginning of page 198 of this dreadful piece of shit itself. Winston Churchill's post-war recommendation was a different one. The great Sun Tzu urged us: Know your enemy!

Original

Translation
The more modest the scientific tenor of this propaganda and the more it is addressed exclusively to public sentiment, the more decisive will be its success. This is the best test of the value of a propaganda, and not the approbation of a small group of intellectuals or artistic people.

Unfortunately, the English translation of the Hurst and Blackett edition does not convey the depreciatory tone of the original at all.
By the way, the Nazis put the French version Mon Combat onto the blacklist during World War II.
